Begin your visit with a nice train ride to Barril Beach, where once was one of the largest tuna structures in the region.

Meet some local fishermen from Santa Luzia and board the boat trip along the Ria Formosa Lagoon, which will take you to the old Arraial Ferreira Neto.

With your guide, visit the only remaining Arraial, once a small village dedicated exclusively to tuna fishing. The museum is very interesting.

At lunch have a gastronomic experience and choose what you prefer at the buffet where you can taste a variety of tasty tuna dishes.  Enjoy your free time and take a walk on the beach or explore the Fort (do Rato), before heading to Tavira.

Once in Tavira, visit the exhibition about the Mediterranean Diet, in the Galeria Palace and find out a little more about some of the products that you probably tasted at lunch.

Visit at Tavira´s Castle, with a breathtaking view over the town and enjoy the rest of your free time discovering the town and shopping in the local shops.
